Overview

Dromex SA11-ASFR, Class 2 lime green flame retardant and anti-static,
high visibility, torso reflective safety wear. SA11-ASFR features a full zip closure
system, identity card holder on the left breast and reflective tape on the front,
back and waist of the jacket for enhanced visibility.

Dromex® SA11-ASFR, Class 2 lime green flame retardant and anti-static,
high visibility, torso reflective safety wear is intended to provide
conspicuity of the wearer in any light condition when viewed by operators
of vehicles or other mechanized equipment during daylight conditions
and under illumination of headlights in the dark.
SA11-ASFR features a full zip closure system, identity card holder on the
left breast and reflective tape on the front, back and waist of the jacket for
enhanced visibility.
SA11-ASFR flame retardant construction is intended to protect the worker
against occasional and brief contact with small igniting flames, in
circumstances where there is no significant heat hazard and without
presence of another type of heat used in the construction, warehouse and
mining industry environments.
The Anti-static carbon activated thread, prevents static build-up in
garments that is used by electronic assembly line staff and places where
flammable liquids and gages are stored.
Class 2 safety vests are required by law for anyone working near or
exposed to vehicle traffic, road construction crews, utility workers, survey
crews, airport ground crews, law enforcement, railway workers, school
crossing guards and toll gate personnel amongst others and in dark areas.

Certifications

Tape:
• REN ISO 20471:2013 specifies requirements for high visibility clothing
which is capable of visually signalling the user’s presence.
• EN 469:2005 + A1:2006 + AC:2006 Protective clothing for firefighters –
Performance requirements for protective clothing for firefighting.
Fabric:
• ISO 6330:2012 Textiles — Domestic washing and drying procedures for
textile testing.
• EN ISO 14116:2008 Protective clothing — Protection against heat and
flame — Limited flame spread materials, material assemblies and clothing.
*Tested before and after five wash/dry cycles according to ISO 6330:2012
Procedure 4N (40°C) with tumble drying (Procedure F) and max 60°C
outlet temperature.

Maintenance

Dromex® reflective wear is packed in individual plastic bags and sold as 50 units per box. When not in use or during transportation, the reflective wear should be stored in a container such that it is out of direct sunlight and not in contact with any chemicals, liquids or sharp objects. Store in a cool dry place. The reflective wear useful life is affected by many factors including the cold, heat, chemicals, sunlight and misuse but if stored correctly should have a shelf life of 3 years.
